This is my first home projection screen and I have to admit I was a little nervous. I'm glad I bought it after reading the reviews. This screen works really well and it's a bargain at $120. The size of the screen is 8' by 8' (roughly 8' by 5' on 16:9 ratio projections). I've had mine for a few days now, the quality of the images is amazing; retracting mechanism takes a little getting used to. The "new smell" was tolerable the first couple of days and barely noticeable now. If you are in the market for a screen I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I love this screen. It arrived in great condition and works very well. 1. You can't see through it. It is nice and thick. 2. It recoils well. 3. It is attractive. 4. It mounts very easily to the wall or ceiling. Note: It comes with no hardware to mount it. Also note: It smells like paint, so you will want to leave it pulled open for about two weeks. The smell will dissapear.

DaLite does not manufacture an 8' wide screen that is less than 8' long.
Amazon needs to correct the photo and to provide physical dimensions
with width and height specified. The screen hangers are 8'3" apart,
too far apart for the screen to hang directly off ceiling joists
in houses built in the USA.
